“Amazing food and service! stopped in while my kids were at sugarloaf for lessons. we got fish and chips and half backstrap burger! onion rings were the best ever. Food and drinks were out so quickly. got there just before the rush and watched everyone around us still get food in such a prompt time!”
“The food was excellent. I ordered the fish with lobster and what i got was very unexpected but excellent. Fish and lobster with a kinda cookie crumble side. Nice and hot (steaming !) The service was great and very friendly.”
“An incredible spot for local cheese, charcuterie, old world wines and much more. Every time I step into Cork and Rind I’m so impressed by their selection and prices. An absolute must stop in Sugarloaf Village.”
“For our anniversary we decided to try take out from Brickyard in Brunswick. We had never eaten here before so we were not sure what to expect. When I called to place the order, the woman taking my order was extremely friendly and was patient with me. Food was ready within 15 minutes and it was easy to pick up. We both got the “build your own burger” and the burger and fries were AMAZING. Super large portions. Wedge cut fries. I cannot wait to order here again. Thank you!”
“Had a good time today. The Cider was warm and outside was FREEZING! Most of the lifts were closed so this was maybe the highlight of the day. Bartender was super nice and reminded us about the seasons pass discounts! Thank you!”
“We had driven by Maturi's Kitchen while searching for moose. As the day got longer, food was scarce. Matruri's was well out of the way, but well in the way for where we were. The menu was very vast for a food truck, and we (3 of us) all ordered very different items. Food came fast (for one chef working) and it was all spot on! All meals were delicious, hot, and the portions were fantastic!!!!”
“Fun place, great service. We arrived right at opening and luckily got a table. Soon after being served our drinks the place filled up with folks that had reservations. Our server was awesome...my hubby got the gorganzola ravioli, which was delish. I ordered the veal & chicken parm. It was good...a little plain. I wish they offered italian bread verses the pesto...it would have been great soaking up the gorganzola sauce. The meal comes with a nice family style salad too. I almost forgot...the eggplant appz was fabulous too!”
“My 5 stars are from several years ago. I would not give more than one star now. Extremely limiting menu with just three chicken entrees, about 7 appetizers and a protein entrée of the day. Was not crowded, only three women at the bar who left shortly after we arrived, yet we still had to wait for our drinks and meal. We did not stay in a room so no comment about the hotel part.”
“Addy, our server, was a step above! So fast serving us drinks and dinner, almost perfectly timed for everything! We were looking for a simple low key local place, with a good reputation, that we didn't have to dress up for our 16th anniversary. As everyone recommended, we went with the Prime Rib for two, and weren't disappointed! It was a little busy near the bar, so we asked to be seated in probably the most quiet area of the restaurant, and it was no question. We sat in a quiet area of the restaurant by ourselves and enjoyed a well prepared meal. As a gay couple, in an area that might not always be friendly to us, we were truly impressed by the kind and friendly service we received! Y'all could've given me a larger portion of those delicious mashed potatoes and gravy, considering the bucket of fries my partner got, or maybe a bigger slice of that amazing cheesecake we had for dessert. Overall though, it was a great meal, and we felt welcomed, would definitely recommend to anyone in the future!”
“When at Sugarloaf and in need of coffee- this is the place! Small shop with a lot of character and some great tasting coffee. All of it is roasted locally by Carrabassset Coffee Company, I ended up purchasing a bag while I was there, and very affordable too for 12oz. They also have small food options, the bagels are really good with a ton of spread options. Customer service was excellent, highly recommended to check this place out if you enjoy coffee.”
“AMAZING SANDWICHES! I had the Turkey club and it was a big sandwich and fresh ingredients, good food before a hike! Their cornbread treats and Blueberry smoothies are amazing too! I wouldn’t buy soups though I wasn’t a fan of the creamy vegetable soup, the rest of the food was amazing.”
“This is hands-down THE BEST place to dine at sugarloaf for anyone with gluten restrictions. My daughter is allergic to gluten, and while she is used to going places and having VERY limited options she doesn’t need to feel ‘different’ at mas amigos!A decent chunk of their menu is already gluten-free and it’s just nice to have that option. She feels safe eating there (priceless) after a dozen or so meals, and it is our go-to spot whenever we go out to lunch in the village. It’s also nice to eat something that doesn’t sit so heavy and lets you go out for more ski runs after!!I read a review complaining about pricing? Apparently they haven’t paid $22 for a hamburger (which, said burger is amazing, but c’mon…did that reviewer realize even the logistics of getting food up to a restaurant in the village?? Or compare pricing to other options in the village before complaining??). Mas amigos is worth what they are charging! Haven’t tried everything, but every now and then I ask my waiter to ‘surprise me’ because I simply haven’t had a bad meal…food is always great.Kudos”
“The pizza delivery is amazing! They even delivered to my camper! Best pizza I've ever had and very fast delivery! I really love they have the pepperoni that makes little cups.I also love the restaurant for lunch. It's so easy to ski down and take the lift back up the mountain. It's way faster to eat there than in the main base area. The restaurant has a fun relaxed atmosphere with good music and friendly staff. Locally made ski themed art is decorating the walls, which is also available for purchase.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Fun game room for kids”
“Killer spot for apres - the drinks, bands, and views are all top notch. Plus there’s a loft above the bandstand with an additional bar, which is simply super cool.”
“A big shoutout to Will who worked with me on a catering order for my husband’s birthday party. I really appreciated Will’s prompt responses and helpful insight with my questions about menu items and quantities. My husband really wanted oysters as a birthday treat, and Will was able to secure a good deal on some - he even provided tools for shucking, which was key since that’s not a tool one usually keeps at their ski condo! The rest of the food (wings, pizza, falafels, shrimp, crabcakes, and dessert) was a big hit as well with all our guests. I definitely recommend working with The Rack if you have an upcoming event in the Sugarloaf area.”
“Great evening on the Wed special with friends.Meatloaf outstanding, and steak tips reported great. Don't miss the Old Fashioned. A food and service - looking forward to heading North again.”
