From the jump, this place was amazing. I love a restaurant that does not rush you, and there was no rush at all. We ended up being there for over 2.5 hours, with no concerns anywhere to be seen or felt. I had a well made dirty martini, the Korean pork belly appitizer, the steak frites (a perfect medium rare), and the donut for dessert and everything was awesome. My wife had a lobster appitizer, the short ribs, and the lemon cake dessert. She had a drink called the painkiller and it was delicious as well. We will be back for our next special occasion. If you are in Rangeley and looking for the best meal and are willing to drive 25ish minutes, this is the place to go.

The positives the meals are very good portions and the flavors are good. My meal was cooked well.
The price point for the meals is WILD. A $17.00 appetizer that consisted of one medium zucchini with a sprinkle of feta and sprinkle of pistachios is way over priced.
Our server was stressed. Not sure if over worked but he was rude, short tempered, did not know the menu as he priced our meals incorrectly upon check out and then argued with me that my dish was on the twofer menu. The drinks from the bar were not up to par, one person in our party sent back the sangria and two IPAs were cloudy as if poured from the bottom of the keg.
Our meals took 1.5 hours before our dinner arrived.
I am hopeful this was just an “off night” as entrees that that are priced 40-45.00 and take 1.5 to be served from a tired, overworked waitstaff is not somewhere I’ll be rushing back to soon.

We had the three course dinner, lobster bisque, filet, and apple crumble cheese cake. All were delicious—the only thing we noticed was that there was no lobster in the bisque. Other than that, it was a fantastic dinner. If you are skiing at sugarloaf and would like a nice meal, this is a great option!

It’s rare to find a place that serves such high end, great quality food without having to deal with a pretentious atmosphere. Coplin nails it. Great food, with a huge variety- check. Super friendly, not snobby staff- check. Phenomenal cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere- double check. You can definitely drop some cash if you’re doing full courses (not a problem since the quality lives up to the price tag)- but there’s an expansive pub menu as well with bowls, sandwiches, etc that are incredible and extremely reasonable. Top of my list when friends ask for a recommendation on where to go when visiting the area.

We really love having a great restaurant in our area that we don't hesitate recommending. We have never been disappointed in our experience. The only reason we did not give a 5 on the food is because the donut dessert was less than par. The donut was dry and not tasty. The ice cream on top was good but for the price of desserts we had a greater expectation. The only reason we did not complain while there was because we were treating guests and didn't feel it appropriate. Otherwise our experience would be a 5.

I have had good burgers in Canada, the US, England, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland. Than Angus burger that I just had at the Coplin Dinner House was, hands down, the BEST burger I have ever had. They grind the meat in-house so you can safely get a medium cook on the meat. I could waffle on about the fine details but you really need to come and experience it yourself. Well done everyone at the Coplin Dinner House!!! Thank you for a magnificent dinner!
