I can’t say enough great things about this place. First, you time travel the second you walk inside. Then they have a wall of decorative paper wasp nests! Amazing. Want some fiddleheads? That’s an option! Delicious smoked trout, not store bought— also an option. Fresh baked deserts that are supremely spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg? Yes please. A burger on a homemade pretzel bun with hand cut fries? Yep. This place is great. Be patient, be kind, and embrace the character...
Delicious. Last thing we expected was to eat duck when we spotted this unassuming little restaurant. Bonus was super yummy butternut squash from their garden Excellent food & service. We will definitely be back.
This motel is exactly what I expected for the rate. The floors were a bit creaky but there wasn’t a lot of guest activity so it didn’t keep us up. I was in town to work on my hundred highest list. The motel is conveniently located to the grocery store which is great for resupplying!
