My husband and I regularly pass the White Wolf when headed to Sugarloaf for a full day of biking. We finally stopped in to see if the wolf burger was as good as my husband remembered when he hiked the Appalachian Trail 10 years ago. The decor was circa 1960s roadside inn. This is like a restaurant operated by a bunch of Moms - the food is amazing and they really take care of you. I went with the prime rib, which was melt in your mouth good, with a side of asparagus and some roasted potatoes. We also went with a fiddler fern appetizer - we didn’t even get a photo of that one, as it was amazing.
The food was excellent. I ordered the fish with lobster and what i got was very unexpected but excellent. Fish and lobster with a kinda cookie crumble side. Nice and hot (steaming !) The service was great and very friendly.
