It was okay. Wouldn't go again on a Friday night if you want to talk at your table. Music was way too loud.

Stopped in for lunch. Ribs were top notch as were the brisket tacos. Highly recommended stop for some BBQ in a sea of seafood ?

We have eaten here at least every other month over the past two years because the food was exceptional.
Yesterday was horrible. The pulled pork was full of fat. Yes, pulled pork has fat, but this was grotesque. I took a few forkfuls and cut off the large pieces of fat in order to eat it. My husband ate the rest.
The brisket sliders were inedible because the meat was hard as a rock. Not juicy. Not tender. Inedible. The slider rolls were dry and were not fresh.
When we got home we were not feeling well at all. My husband was up all night vomiting. My grandson got sick as well.
We were all very disappointed as this has been a favorite place to eat and somewhere we have always enjoyed and looked forward to going to.

Everything was fantastic! The meats, the Mac n cheese, the cornbread, even the salad! Erica was attentive and took great care of us. You can just tell it’s a great vibe here.

Food and service were excellent. Too bad about the road noise. Bit chilly….time to put in the windows and turn on the heater.
Parking: Seems to be adequate

Food was terrible. I had the pulled pork with baked beans. The pulled pork was extremely over salted, nearly inedible, the baked beans were bland and more like British baked beans not New England molasses baked beans. The only redeeming qualities for the restaurant were the handsome waiter and talented guitarist. Otherwise the food was a waste of hard earned money and I'll never eat there again. Go for drinks and music. Avoid the food.
We were getting road weary when we spotted this cool looking spot. Beer, food and service were great. I had the wedge salad and loved it.
Definitely worth the stop.

This is a lunch/dinner spot. The food is surprisingly good. Mostly it's BBQ with really good sides.
My son had brisket - I had fish and chips. The quality of the fish was excellent. I didn't get much brisket but when I begged I was allowed a slice of two. The brisket had a really good crust.

Would not go here again. I ordered the mac n cheese because that was all I was hungry for. It was $18. The portion size was not big at all for that price. The cheese sauce was very runny and not very cheesy. Much prefer Kraft mac n cheese to this. Corn on the cob was good. Seats are uncomfortable. All else was fine, but food was just really blah. My husband loves brisket but wasn't impressed.

I never rate a business but I can’t help to do so in order to warn others. We spent $80 on dry, tough brisket and the mac and cheese was a watered down soup of cheese with a little bit of pasta for your chewing pleasure. The corn bread was dry and no butter was provided as advertised. They really should take more pride in what they serve. I would be embarrassed as the owner/chef to feed folks such “food”. Have yet to find barbecue joints in Maine that compare to the south and I am a Maine native. Having said that, if you are hankering for barbecue, go to Moe’s in Bangor, at least their brisket is juicy and tender and their sides are tasty. Don’t like traveling from midcoast to Bangor but I guess that is the price we must pay to get decent barbecue.

Hit or miss....several times the food was excellent. But a few times the brisket was too dry or the appetizer portion was acking. Overall, it's a nice place to chill ?
