Gluten free scones and more. Monhegan Coffee Roasters coffee and tea served. Whole bean and teas sold for take-away. Next time, we’ll try the savory options. Definitely returning again.”

The chickpea wrap had perfect combination of spicy sauce and crisp vegetables in a very fresh wrap. Honestly, I was shocked to find such deliciousness in this small, unpretentious shop. “I have been going to Thomaston Maine Applebee's for years. I stopped going due to long wait times, and food coming out cold. I started going back a few months ago, as Applebee's has gone through a huge improvement. My waitress Loni, is fantastic always making sure our food is hot, delivered quickly and always with a smile! Amy is always walking around and asking how everything is. She is always smiling and if something was wrong, I have seen her go out of her way to fix it with other customers. I spoke with her recently about how great service and the food has been, she explained there is a new Kitchen manager that Chris has really stepped up to the plate. Chris, Loni and Amy really make the Applebee's experience a pleasure! Thank you guys for all you do!!!”

Usually I don’t like mustard but it was perfectly balanced with the onions and pickles” 14 year old- “I like the combination and the crunch of onion and lettuce. The burger was cooked perfectly. I used exactly 7 napkins.” 10 year old- “ The best BLT on the midcoast. The most bacon I have ever seen on a BLT. If I had to judge on a 1-5 scale. “What an absolutely wonderful evening. We visited Suzuki Sushi last night with family, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance; cozy, intimate, and underscored by soft, well-chosen music that set the tone without overpowering conversation.
The meal itself was exceptional. We began with crisp, flavorful gyoza that disappeared almost instantly, followed by an array of nigiri and rolls showcasing incredibly fresh fish and thoughtful presentation. Keiko’s Favorite Roll was a standout; rich, balanced, and easily one of the best I’ve had. We paired everything with sake from Keiko’s hometown and even ventured into Japanese whisky for the first time. They were smooth, nuanced, and a real highlight.
What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—we felt like guests rather than just another table. It turned an excellent meal into a memorable family evening.
