“12/6/24 came in got 3 footlongs, In my younger days worked at Subway for a total of 6 years or more on and off, I know how a sandwich should be made, to the young women with blackish reddish hair who says she's been there 2 years, you made great sandwiches for me, Just enough of everything and you were super friendly, if I could figure out when she worked I would get subs on those days, if I'm spending my money, I want it how she did it, I never get that at any Subway, give this young women a raise for taking care in what her job entails.”

Usually I don’t like mustard but it was perfectly balanced with the onions and pickles” 14 year old- “I like the combination and the crunch of onion and lettuce. The burger was cooked perfectly. I used exactly 7 napkins.” 10 year old- “ The best BLT on the midcoast. The most bacon I have ever seen on a BLT. If I had to judge on a 1-5 scale. Gluten free scones and more. Monhegan Coffee Roasters coffee and tea served. Whole bean and teas sold for take-away. Next time, we’ll try the savory options. Definitely returning again.”

The chickpea wrap had perfect combination of spicy sauce and crisp vegetables in a very fresh wrap. Honestly, I was shocked to find such deliciousness in this small, unpretentious shop. Didn’t try anything else, but 100% recommend chickpea sandwich!”

“We go here a couple times a month for dinner. They have some gluten free options, great chicken wings and a great bar though it is very small, so we have had to sit at a table a couple of times. The dining area doesn't have great ambiance but the food and service has always been terrific.”

“What an absolutely wonderful evening. We visited Suzuki Sushi last night with family, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance; cozy, intimate, and underscored by soft, well-chosen music that set the tone without overpowering conversation.
The meal itself was exceptional. We began with crisp, flavorful gyoza that disappeared almost instantly, followed by an array of nigiri and rolls showcasing incredibly fresh fish and thoughtful presentation. Keiko’s Favorite Roll was a standout; rich, balanced, and easily one of the best I’ve had. We paired everything with sake from Keiko’s hometown and even ventured into Japanese whisky for the first time. They were smooth, nuanced, and a real highlight.
What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—we felt like guests rather than just another table. It turned an excellent meal into a memorable family evening.
If you’re looking for standout sushi in Midcoast Maine, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be back.”
