The Zack Shack has the absolute best burgers around the Knox county area. They are conveniently located on Rt1 at the Rockland/Thomaston line. They also have really good fish tacos. But the burgers are why I continue to go several times a week.
First lobster roll I ever had and I think I started off strong. It was amazing! Worth every cent. 10/10 would eat here again!!Follow up: it was so good my husband and I considered driving 3 hours out of our way in order to get another roll. We didn’t end up doing it because we were short on time. This was our honeymoon.

Truly the ideal splendor of a roadside food truck, with a staff that makes you feel not just welcome but back home. Maine hospitality doesn't begin to explain it, but the real kicker is how good the food is for such an affordable price. If you haven't been you're missing out that's the sum of it.
