St. George Pizza is a highly regarded dining retreat with a Bohemian feel to its decor and vibe. The atmosphere is cozy, warmly lit, and inviting in the winter, while bright, easy, and breezy in the summer. It is great for families and dates, and a good hang. The staff are polite, helpful, adorable, warm, and welcoming.
The menu is simple and straight forward, with pizza as the star. The pizza is very high quality, especially the dough, and there are some seasonal ones. The Caesar salad is delicious, fresh, and HUGE. The cacio e pepe pizza is incredible. The Sicilian style pan pizza is unique, with wonderful dough, though maybe a little heavy on the ingredients. Pizzas are slightly on the pricier side at 22 - 28$ for one, and it can take some time for the pizza to come out. The lemon basil spritzer is bright and refreshing, the frozen custard for dessert hits the spot, and the desserts and cocktails are a must. The lambrusco is on point, and the ranch should not be skipped. This place is worth a drive for an elevated Bohemian pizza experience, and a must-visit if you're in Warren, Maine, or passing by.
