“Went in not expecting much in sleepy Thomaston ME; ended up w one of best sandwiches ever, not just in Maine but in all my travels. The chickpea wrap had perfect combination of spicy sauce and crisp vegetables in a very fresh wrap. Honestly, I was shocked to find such deliciousness in this small, unpretentious shop. Didn’t try anything else, but 100% recommend chickpea sandwich!”

Gluten free scones and more. Monhegan Coffee Roasters coffee and tea served. Whole bean and teas sold for take-away. Next time, we’ll try the savory options. Definitely returning again.”

“One of our favorite restaurants in Maine! Such a comfortable atmosphere with well worn wooden booths, tables and chairs. The menu is always so good, it makes it hard to decide what to order. Their salads are always good and a nice variety of other entrees and always delicious desserts that vary from day to day. Check the hours before you go.”

“We visited this location at about 4 p.m. one young man was working alone and handling the entire operation. It was busy! I was very impressed with how the young man presented himself. Despite how stressful it must have been, we couldn't tell at all; he was cool as a cucumber under pressure. Our order was ready as timely as we could have expected and was just as we ordered. We would have given the young man a raise if we owned the place. We are very pleased and will be back. Kiddos to your worker.”
