I Went for my birthday dinner. I was not dissappointed at all!! Our server/hostess Heather D was outstanding, knowledgeable, and kind to us the whole way through. The food was delicious and surprised me and my date! One of the best italian restaurants ive ever been to!!
Ports of Italy has the best Italian food I have had in Maine. They go the extra mile to make their food really special. Try the linguini con vongole and you'll see what I mean. I grew up in New York. Almost all my friends were 2nd generation Italian and all their parents cooked delicious food. Though I am not Italian, they taught me to cook and I am a good Italian cook. I want to start by saying overall amazing food. Authentic and homemade like I was back home in Massachusetts eating at an Italian restaurant.The only thing I would change is portion size. I left wanting more food especially for the money I spent. Maybe a little more pasta in the dish would have been good.Service was great and atmosphere was great.
