“Local lobsters right out of rockport harbor prices are reasonable I’ve had lobsters from them 4times this year and the old shell lobsters were full of meat like they should be can’t get any fresher then being caught and brought to the shop the same day“

“Graffam's is a great store. I ordered lobsters for a friend who lives in the South and had them shipped via UPS next day air. There was a problem with the package being transferred at one of the shipping locations and it prevented a timely delivery. Kim, of Graffam's, got on the phone and talked to UPS supervisors who were able to track the package and get the lobsters available for my friend to pick them up in rural Alabama. I was impressed with her resolve and determination to ensure the process went correctly. 5 stars!!“

“My wife, daughter and I visited here this past weekend, and the atmosphere of The Waterfront called to us - great views of the harbor and several good online reviews led us here. Our experience lacked a bit - the intense heat in the area led us inside, where they didn't have any AC on so it was sweltering in the corner they seated us at (but to be fair, the weather isn't their fault, and they probably usually keep the windows open to enjoy the nice cool breeze off the water, which wasn't in play that day).

Our server was friendly, but overall didn't seem much interested in us after we indicated we weren't ordering cocktails, and the time between her visits was pretty lengthy - enough to run out of water twice.

The food was really good, with one notable exception. We had the lobster roll as well as the halibut tacos, both of which were tasty and excellent. Our daughter ordered the special of the day, which was fried shrimp and scallops, and she liked her meal. She offered me a bite of one of her scallops and I discovered that they weren't, in fact, scallops. It was a breaded whitefish of some kind, likely cod, made up to look like a scallop, and while it wasn't bad, it also wasn't a truthful depiction of what was on the menu. I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay and have been eating seafood my whole life, and clearly know the difference between scallops and fish. I also know there are times when restaurants may substitute fish for scallops - in this instance I just think the restaurant should have been truthful about it.“

Bonus: if you're lucky you'll catch the owners there with their ridiculously cute dog, Orca, and gets lots of snuggles and loves from her!“

Wait staff super attentive, and the food comes fresh and very quickly, must be efficient kitchen.

Lobster rolls are excellent, so is the crab roll.

Try to get a table upstairs with super view of the bay.

“My aunt and I went to Archer’s on Monday and splurged for lunch and totally enjoyed ourselves! The setting was gorgeous, beautiful with views of the harbor and we had the best seat in the house. The staff and were friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. We tried the peekytoe crab cakes and oyster Rockefeller for appetizers and had the lobster lunch special! That lobster was the best one I’ve ever had, perfectly steamed and very delicious. Couldn’t walk away without a slice of raspberry and blueberry pie for dessert! I will recommend this place to all my friends who travel to Maine for vacation! Archer’s made these 2 Cajun gals very happy while we were on vacation! Thank you so much Lynn!“

“My review is based off of the tamales just ordered. I grew up in Panama and it was one the best treats to get fresh tamales. It didn’t happen very often- but when it did, I loved them so much. And obviously in Maine- it’s almost impossible to find them- especially authentic. I was quite impressed with Sammy’s take on tamales. Of course- they are not the exact replica of what I had- but they are very impressive. And it’s A LOT of work to make them. It’s not Taco Bell. “Though raised in the Midwest, my family is from California & my mom cooks great Mexican food… so I was prepared to be disappointed when I first went to try the fare at this popular local restaurant- in several visits I have never been disappointed. Though (not surprisingly) not quite ‘equal’ to the best I’ve ever had, their Mexican and Southwest-inspired dishes are REALLY delicious, and very generous in portion size (just TRY to finish even a half-order of their nachos by yourself!). “As we often do while traveling, our first mission was finding a local brewpub. Sea Dog Brewing Company turned out to be exactly what we were hoping for. Sitting right on Camden Harbor, it's the kind of place where the view competes with the food for your attention. Whether you choose the covered outdoor patio overlooking the water or the expansive dining room lined with walls of windows, there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
