Extraordinary and unlike any other restaurant in Maine. We found the establishment on our Michelin Guide portal, pretty much the only place recommended by Michelin in Maine. We enjoyed the lobster tasting, beautiful dishes of Maine lobster combined with south East Asian flavors. Service was attentive and knowledgeable .
A wonderful evening all around. In particular, I want to comment on the wait staff. They were uniformly welcoming, personable, engaged, authentic and very helpful. Really made us feel very comfortable and added a warm, positive element to an otherwise memorable evening.
We had a 7:30 reservation but felt rushed through our meal. My husband had barely touched his cocktail and bread service when our entrees arrived. Also we had to remind them that he had requested a specific wine with dinner. So that took time to arrive while his entree was getting cold. He ended up finishing his cocktail for dessert. Natalie's Restaurant at Camden Harbour Inn offers a lovely ambience on the porch with a perfect view. The food is spectacular and delicious, including the braised short rib, cod entree, lobster bisque, venison, and Wagyu burger. The brown butter that came with the bread was amazing. Cocktails were excellent, especially the Vesper, and wine choices were thoughtfully chosen and paired well. The service could not have been better; everyone was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Some guests enjoyed the Feast of the Seven Fishes dining experience, which was an extensive prix fixe menu. However, one dining experience was a chef's tasting menu of five fish courses and dessert only, with no ala carte options. For a guest with a fish allergy, the staff eventually served an extra cut of beef, though it came rare when well-done was requested, and a small salad was found after asking. Despite this, three of four guests had a great meal. Overall, the ambiance is terrific, and the staff is wonderful.
