We’ve been hearing about The Uproot Pie Co. from friends over the past year, and driving by many times and decided tonight is the night. We had no idea what to expect and delighted when we opened the door. It’s very welcoming with a warn friendly atmosphere. As you walk by the prep. area you get to watch pizza being made, then there’s this funny looking wood burning oven. Over the order desk is is a blackboard menu. After pacing our order we had a seat at one of two long (20’) farm tables amongst other patrons which added to the charm. After a very short time our pizza was served and boy was it amazing. After one bite, I looked at my wife and said this is my kind of pizza. We have eaten a lot of pizza around the mid coast, and this maybe my favorite. As for the three ladies working behind the counter, their fun friendly personality added to the experience which rounded off the night.

Uproot catered our Friday night Welcome Party for our wedding weekend for 130 guests on Rockport Harbor. We had pizza (of course), salad and their chocolate cake. The buffet style tables covered with various pizzas were decorated incredibly well and coordinated with our decor.
Since the first Uproot pie I tried years prior, I knew I wanted them to be at our wedding and for our friends and family (many of them native New Yorker's) to experience Jess and team's delicious dough, and their incredible pizza pairings. It means a lot to me to support women-lead and run businesses and you can tell Jess and her team care about their craft, the customers and care about each other. Uproot is the epitome of good vibes all around. Everyone from our wedding is still raving about the pizza. I couldn't recommend them enough for catering (and to also go to the Carriage house, a new date night favorite of ours).

Jess and Uproot are amazing. We hired Uproot to cater our wedding and it was the best decision! Everyone at the wedding (and weeks later) raved about the cheese board and pizza. Not only is the food some of the best pizza you will try, but Jess is a dream to work with. She was quick with communication and answering questions (of which I had many). She was accommodating to our requests for vegan options, and I had people comment that those were their favorite. Jess and her team took care of everything and saw to the little details alleviating a lot of stress for us. They made sure my husband and I were served first, which is a small thing but meant the world so we didn’t forget to eat. If you can’t get them for your wedding, go to their pizza night or visit at a farmers’ market. I highly recommend Jess at Uproot for any event needing catering! Thank you Uproot for amazing food our at wedding!

Love love love this place. Run by some amazing creative ladies. Just as you look for this place and think you passed it, think again bc maybe you did. Located off a Main Street a few house in, these ladies have created a pizza haven. Pizzas were good, love the desserts and great pairing of wine, beer and non alcoholic drinks. Definitely kid and pet friendly. It was a fantastic atmosphere and the ladies literally make your pizza right in front of you. Liked that dough wasn’t super heavy and our fav pizza was apples cheddar with pickled red onions sooo good and don’t forget to get a side of their dipping sauce, holy cow that has such great flavor.

We had uproot pie co. cater for our rehersal dinner at Harmony Hill Farms in Warren, ME and couldn't be happier! The menu was awesome and pizza was so good! Everyone enjoyed it and it was a cool experience to have them pull up with the trailer and get to making pizza right on the spot!

I am so delighted this little gem opened up in Thomaston. The space is gorgeous yet casual, and the pizzas are the best I have ever tasted (even in Italy)! Great wine list and salads round it out, and the pistachio olive oil cake is a must try.

The Carriage House is a triumph for the Midcoast Community, it’s casual, fun, and funky and I am so grateful for what they offer - seriously cool popups, amazing food, kind and welcoming staff, beautiful surroundings…to name just a few! Uproot Pie Co as a private caterer and farmers market staple is also fantastic and not to be missed. Highly recommend.
