Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound

Two weeks ago, we ordered whole lobsters, mussels, and dozens of oysters to go! The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, all at a great price. The owner and staff were friendly and efficient, and we returned the next day! In total, we ended up buying five lobsters for just two people over two days. We wish we could stay longer on this trip, and you will definitely see us again!

I really wanted to like this place because the people were so nice and they cook their lobster outside but my lobster roll was falling apart in my hands and my chowder was not good. Lobster by itself was overall good. I think I just needed to get a steamed lobster instead of the roll.

Really nice spot for the fresh lobsters and more! I love that place!

When we were leaving Bar Harbor we decided to stop and get some fresh lobster meat to take home. We bought a container of fresh lobster here and decided to freeze it and enjoy it later. I anticipated cut up pieces of lobster and hopefully nothing else as filler. When we did eat it, it was spectacular. It tasted so fresh, and in our container were 3 full lobster tails, 3 full claws, and numerous other large chunks of lobster. I highly recommend their lobster. We will be return customers!

This place was hopping! We had the lobster roll with a side of potato salad and the crab cakes. The crab cakes were fantastic! The atmosphere is casual. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It was fun to watch people buy and enjoy whole lobsters. Neat location!

Perfect choice! Our hotel suggested this location and it was amazing! First time to Maine and wanted a fresh lobster that I could pick out and have cooked. The couple at the register were incredibly friendly and suggestive. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and 2 lobsters, and split one dinner upgrade, which was plenty. The corn, coleslaw, and potato salad were tasty as well. The whole evening was great, the staff were friendly, and it was an evening to remember. We can’t wait to go back again!

Cute little shack. Ordered clam chowder and crab cakes. The crab cakes were very good; the clam chowder was not, almost devoid of clams. The restaurant was cute but the seating area was far too warm from the wood stove.

Look no further. This is the real deal. Locals we stayed with recommended it. Lobsters boiled in salt water and cooked over a wood fire.

Don’t skip out on the blueberry pie.
