As always breakfast never disappoints at Mammie's. Just remember, everybody is short-staffed so it took a while to get served and our check when done. Having said that all food service industries are going through this right now, just a heads up be patient, it's worth the wait!

Enjoyed our haddock basket and pot roast lunch at Mammie's. Roasted squash was so good; tender and buttery. Haddock had a great fresh flavor and was perfectly cooked; flakey and juicy. Pot roast was tender and meaty with good gravy. Servers were working hard and food came out quickly.

Small venue so food delivery is slower than bigger venue might provide, assume only one cook. Charmimg atmosphere because the site was a former school cafeteria. Service was attentive and friendly. Food and value was very good. Personally can recommend the pork tenderloin sandwich, sausage gravy over biscuits, and pancakes. Visited after local Paw Paw festival and thoroughly enjoyed.

It was our first time here. The decor is primitive country and very cozy. The food was fresh with good portions. Unfortunately, as with other reviews, the waitress lacked dining customer service. She was pleasant at first, but we waited for our drinks, then for our lunch. Never came to ask us how everything was. In the meantime, one older waitress was running back and forth servicing several of her tables at once. When we paid our bill, I said thank you, and never got a response back, making me feel like we weren't wanted there.
