I visited around 9am and had coffee, a muffin, and a cherry danish. Pastry and muffin were great but the coffee tasted completely watered down. Not sure if it isn't being brewed correctly or if grounds are being reused, but it was really bad.

While driving through Waterboro, I stopped by at Country Girl Cafe & Sandwich Shop for some caffeine. This place used to be Waterways Coffee and The New England Bakery. This cafe serves up coffee drinks, sandwiches, salads, baked goods (wrapped in plastic), frappuccinos, milkshakes, ice cream, cooler drinks (Pepsi products & Red Bull). It's an order at the counter place with a few tables.I ordered a 16 oz French Vanilla Iced Coffee ($2.75 plus tax) with minimal light cream and sugar. The coffee came from a Green Mountain Coffee hot coffee dispenser and poured on ice. I believe the coffee from the dispenser was not hot.The iced coffee was okay, a bit sweet and weaker than I'm used to drinking. I would probably stop in again to try their sandwiches, but I would be all set with coffee.CASH OR VENMO ONLY (in May 2023)

Shop looks like it’s going through some start up issues.AC was not working and it was sweltering inside. The employees seemed pretty unorganized and had to walk back and forth through the building multiple times in order to get me an “iced coffee”, which was hot coffee poured into a plastic cup with ice. Technically iced coffee, but not what one expects when ordering it.Few prices on the menu.It looks like they are trying to get into their groove and I would be willing to return and see what experience I have a second time.
