El Tequila is a decent Mexican restaurant. They offer all the staples that one would expect on a huge menu. Being authentic, sometimes the food has a local authentic variation from what you may be used to, but still good. The atmosphere can get very loud if they're busy. The atmosphere makes this not great for a first date type place, just throwing that out there. The servers work hard, but sometimes it appears there are some slight language barriers, which add to the charm...
As a Mexican, I was really hoping for a more authentic experience. While the margaritas were good and the portions were generous, the food itself didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of traditional Mexican flavor.
The menu has a lot of options, but unfortunately, several items weren’t available because they were out of ingredients, which was disappointing. The staff was nice, and the atmosphere was fine, but overall, I’d say it’s more of a Tex-Mex spot...

We really enjoyed going here and it was one of the only places around that was still open last night. They stayed open until 9 o'clock on Sundays. Awesome chips and salsa, delicious margaritas and reasonably priced food. Server was very friendly and the place is always very clean inside highly recommend.
