Was a let down. I heard it was good. I was less then impressed. The appetizers were decent oysters and fried calamari kind of hard to mess up.
The veal was ok but not stellar by any means. The mushroom rissato was gross. My wife's haddock was undercooked and stuffing was mushy. The atmosphere was nice and quite. Service was ok but not over the top. Server never refilled my drink.

ALWAYS top notch. Had our anniversary dinner here last night. I got the scallops and they were amazing. Also got risotto, one of my favorites, also amazing. Hubby got the baked stuffed haddock which is always a win.

Delicious food and great service but I don't think they have a working exhaust system. We left the restaurant with burning eyes from kitchen smoke and all our clothes wreeked of cooking smells. There was a fog of smoke that really took away from the enjoyment of the meal.

My hubby and I decided to try 18 Below for the first time for our date night, and were super disappointed. The hostess let us know a booth would be opened up and cleaned for us after a few minutes, but instead we were sat in the far room where a large birthday dinner was happening. Our waitress was nice but obviously focused on the large party, since the times we saw her were few and far between.

We ordered the garlic and cheddar dip and the escargot for our appetizers, since we had never tried snails. The beer cheese dip was bland and gritty. I was sad to see that such a nice place serve what looked like Santitas tortilla chips with their dip.

We both wanted the brisket entree, but were told that they only had enough left for 1 (at 6:00 on a Saturday, when they only opened 2 hours ago…).

After about an hour with only 2 sad appetizers and no service, we just decided to pay for our appetizers and leave. Our rare date night was a huge disappointment :(

Oysters were really good. Main food was bit ”mushy”, difficult to taste crab from fish.

Super unfortunate because we were excited about this place. We are pretty sure that our appetizer was served on someone’s leftover salad plate. Judging by some of the lettuce that had dressing on it that was underneath the dish. It took almost 20 minutes to get a glass of water. The food sounded really great on the menu, but was completely bland. And both of our meals were partially cold. It took over 40 minutes to get our drinks and they were terrible. We always order old fashions whenever we go because that’s our favorite cocktail and this was the worst one we ever had.

Every time I come here it’s a 10/10 experience from service to food. The menu changes through out the seasons so you can always try something new and it will be amazing

Our first time there. Expectations were more than surpassed. Four different fish dishes, all of different varieties, beyond our dining experiences. These meals were perfectly prepared, served with excellent timing and courtesy by a most competent server. Will we be going back? Already picked a day. The owner was gracious enough to come to our table when asked so we could praise his creation...18 Below.

Excellent food and service. Steep stairs to get in/out. Parking area across the street. Stuffed haddock was great as was the blueberry cosmo.

Recently dined in and was blown away! The food was absolutely incredible, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our waitress, Summer. We sat in the bar area, and she was both informative and engaging. Her drinks were top-notch! This has officially become my new go-to spot. Amazing food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere

We were definitely looking forward to dinner here given the good reviews. Sadly it was a huge disappointment. First of all it was not at all busy and we were seated in the bar area. That meant the bartender waited on us. When we asked what seafood dish she recommended (which we always solicit) she replied that she doesn’t eat seafood. Tip to manager..if you have servers working in a primarily seafood restaurant please have them conversant in the dishes. And she seemed proud to tell us that. She was flip and condescending the rest of the meal. Next the food..the lobster filet dish was like a slight upgrade to a chicken fried steak. Would never recommend that to anyone. Similarly the haddock dish was mediocre at best. Overall a big disappointment and frankly unpleasant experience from a service perspective.

I really enjoyed the restaurant, atmosphere was great everyone talking and enjoying dinner. Not to loud, it's located in a basement with a open kitchen. So you can see all the good food coming out if you sit near that side. My wife had the stuffed haddock and loved it. I had the shredded brisket plate which was very tasty. We will return.
