We went Saturday night for the first time. The food and service was great. Will definitely go again.
I was disappointed that a dining establishment with such potential could miss the mark. I was served a green house salad that was less than 1/2 cup of limp greens as a starter priced at $12.00. Thankfully the bread was warm and tasty. Service was not great as the wait staff failed to clear my salad plate or light the candle upon our start. I think she’s new to this job.
The salmon was very good oversaw one That entree was $27. Yikes! …this is not Manhattan or Boston. Potatoes excellent.

Overall, it was a satisfying experience. We did not have a reservation, and they were able to fit us in. We were concerned that the table of 12-14 ordering before us would slow down our order, but with tasty blueberry lemonade to nurse, cheesy French onion Soup to sip, and bread and oil to dip, any pangs were settled as the timing of our entrees joined the flow. The server was a veteran and knew the balance between attentive and annoying. The food was very pleasing. If there was one criticism to give, it would be that the sauce on the lasagna was too much, and the cheese was not enough. Does that count as two criticisms? Anyhow, you can't go wrong here, and it sure as hell beats those chain Italian restaurants with their prepared microwave entrees!

Service was very good. The rice ball appetizer was still frozen in the middle. Told the waitress she said sorry, I expected the manager to come over or maybe it would be taken off the bill. I had the pecan crusted salmon it was 27.00 I have never seen a piece of salmon that small. That is not a 27.00 meal , even with the salad that consisted of lettuce croutons and 2 cherry tomato .

Wildly overpriced. Food was ok at best, someone in our party said the Olive Garden was better at half the price.

We love Amici’s! The food is absolutely phenomenal and the service is unmatched! We highly recommend!
Our waitress, Brooklyn, tonight was absolutely amazing and made our experience awesome. It was definitely worth the 50 minute drive from Bangor to go there! If you haven’t tried, please do! You won’t be disappointed!!!!

Overall - not worth the cost. Food was generally bland, service was bad, and the pasta was more similar to what I would expect from a pizza place than a nice Italian restaurant.
All four of us ordered a different pasta dish, and all four of us had overcooked, disappointing pasta. The Eggplant Parmesan came with a little side of pasta, which was soggy. If you have a dislike for al dente pasta this is the place for you. Served with plenty of marinara, but it wasn't worth it as it had little flavor and was watery. Caesar salad was also bland and watery.
Service was not good. It took 45 minutes for us to be served, and that was only after tracking down our waitress that we had been waiting that long for our food. In general she was not attentive about drinks. There was a large party (seated after us) which may have played a role in the slowness, but our waitress could've at least checked in and let us know the kitchen was behind.
Desserts were expensive for what they are. They show them to you on a tray which is nice, but it means you don't know the price until the check comes. Plus the slice they gave us was smaller than what they had showed us.

Hidden costs, third visit, knowing the place was expensive, I decided to check the receipt,
Martini $13.00, plus 1.50 for a martini and .50 for each olive!
Received poor explanation from manager.
This is ridiculous, as they should tell the customer upfront.
Manager turned rude when asked for explanation.
Great food and service, however out of principle I will never return. They lost a potential regular customer without even trying.
