Cushnoc Cantina Reviews
I have been here many times and enjoyed the entire experience! However, today there was a male bartender that had no clue of what he was doing. We sat down he brought us menus. Cushnoc Cantina, a new restaurant in Waterville, offers a pleasant and inviting atmosphere with clean decor and new outdoor seating on Main Street. The staff, including friendly and attentive servers, contribute to a positive experience. The drink list, featuring Cushnoc beers on tap, is well-liked, and the atmosphere and drinks are often praised as legendary for the sleepy town.
The menu features popular starters like chips and queso and cantina tots. The fish tacos and black bean tacos are highly recommended, with some saying they rival tacos from Pismo Beach. The Cauli Bang Bang was described as amazing, and the jerk chicken taco has been called inspired. Other dishes like the elote dip and ice cream sundae received high praise, with the meal getting better as it went on. The spicy margarita made by Leah was also highlighted as exceptional.
However, some items like the Esquites Caesar salad received criticism for being smaller, more expensive, and bland, with chewy pork belly. The restaurant can get quite busy, which may slow service, but overall, many diners find the food delicious and the experience worthwhile. Some are willing to return, hoping for continued improvements, while others remain cautious. Cushnoc Cantina is still finding its groove, but its unique menu and inviting environment show promise for the future.
