What an exquisite slice of space in Waterville with the most delicious pizza in Maine! From wood fired oven, great crust, delicious sauce and all the toppings it's a clear winner. I'm vegan and delighted to report they can accommodate with vegan cheese. Of course they have that ooey gooey delicious dairy cheese as well. They have gluten free options. The vibe is off the beaten path and I found it completely inviting, warm and friendly. I've wanted to go for a few years when I housesit in the area but due to COVID they had take out only after 5 p.m.for a while. I'm not one to venture out too much after dark in the winter so was delighted to find they have dine in back. They still offer take out after 5 p.m. on certain days. I will frequent Grand Central Cafe and am telling my friends about this great find. The atmosphere just adds to their delicious pizza.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options as well.

Their brick oven pizza is so delicious. Perfectly made nachos. Best Gluten Free pizza around. The staff was so welcoming and sweet with our active toddler. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Wonderful selection of kid entertainment to keep their hands busy during a wait, and the staff was so kind interacting with our toddler.

Not your traditional pizza shop, and the brick oven provides extra testy flavors. Don't forget to grab some Grand Bread, whether while you dine or take it to go.

By far the best gluten free pizza I've had in a long time. It was done when they said it would be, service was great, prices very reasonable. Just all around positive experience!!! I will go back!!!!

Great pizza fresh toppings that are crispy. Thin crust that isn’t soggy. Wonderful carrot ? cake to finish things off. I have done all of the above. Dined in and gotten take out. I don’t believe that they deliver.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. My favorite pizza is the Gentle Giant. Look for it on their menuThe chili ?️ is fantastic too!Kid-friendliness: It has an eclectic design interior very relaxed and laid back. The staff is friendly and non threateningParking: They offer free parking and there is plenty of space.

Wow - definitely the best pizza in the Waterville area if you like true wood fired thin crust pizza. We tried so many other places before trying this location - shame on us. I'm sorry for those that reviewed before me, that I didn't pay closer attention to your words and pictures. Lesson learned. We ordered 4 pizzas and nachos (really just chips and melted cheese) and everything was ready in 30 minutes on a Friday rainy night. They have a very efficient operation and each pizza was perfect and the nachos were ok - the 3 year old liked them. The pizzas we bought, pepperoni and green pepper, the Pepperoni Express, the Caveman and Arshak. I love smoked Gouda, so from the pizzas we bought, I liked the Pepperoni express - it was edge to edge pepperoni with cheddar and smoked gouda - wow...although it was a bit heavy for the thin crust. The Caveman is sneaky, seems like an innocent enough pizza, but for those that don't like spice, the red pepper flakes may be a bit too much for you, still though, it was yummy!!! The Arshak pizza was interesting, strong olive flavor. If you don't like olives, don't get this pizza. it was a refreshing change, from pepperoni pizzas to that one. Nice balance. Felt "healthier" LOL The bake was nice - some char in some areas, but not bad at all - Close to perfect for wood fire. It cannot be compared a southern Maine pizza chain, O**o - you know where I mean... where 50% of the time, it's burnt and inedible...again from my experience only. However if you like O**o, then you will LOVE Grand Central Cafe!!! I highly recommend this pizza place if you like wood fired pizza with a thin crust and quality toppings.

Your website says your open so we travel an hour and chairs are up on the tables with a closed sign in the window. Please state the times you're open so there's no guessing on our part.

Very good food, nice portion, and fair price. Very rare, but we needed to go boxes.Dietary restrictions: Jackie needs GF and that was easily accommodating. Thank you.

Site says open until 9:00 p.m. but they close at 8:00 p.m. Friday night closing at 8:00 is ridiculous. And then to not update info is unprofessional.
