Food and service was ok
I stayed at the hotel and got the complementary breakfast in the morning, I’m not sure if it was because we were staying at the hotel or because I was with a POC, but the service was not great. They were short, snarky and all around just rude, at first we thought it was just our table but the man sitting behind us was also a POC and the waitress again was snarky ,snappy and all around rude. Thankfully it was a decent breakfast and free or else I would’ve left.
Nice and quiet, good service. The breakfast was good too
The worst food I have ever had for dine out. Gave them 2 different opportunities to get a good meal. The people that worked in the restaurant should have nothing to do with food service. I have been going there for 25 years for great meals. This year they have gone down hill terribly. I will not return
The service is slow and sloppy. I stay at the hotel a lot and most of the time when I try dinner at Obriens the order ends up being wrong and if it isn't wrong it's not worth eating. I would strongly suggest new managers and a change of staff. Friday night and the place is empty.
This place went downhill. One server was rude. Took almost an hour to order and it was not busy. Almost another hour to get our food still not busy and my order was wrong. Will never be back to eat here
We ate here four times on our trip. First it was out of convenience being right in the hotel, but the second night because the food was really great. First night we had appetizers and salad. The salad had loads of fresh veggies including snap peas and yellow tomatoes. Quesadillas were packed with peppers, onions, and grilled chicken. And chicken wings were crispy and served with chunky blue cheese and carrots and celery. Next night we had burgers and a chicken steak that was also excellently prepared with very fresh veggies and crispy fries. I travel a bit and wanted to take a moment to recognize a small town hotel restaurant doing a great job for a very reasonable price.
Came hear tired and hungry late at night and diana at o'briens tavern had great service was fun to laugh with and overall the best waiter ive ever had every time i come to waterville i will be trying to stop by. Thank you diana
We use the Colby room yearly for our fantasy football live Draft and the food is always amazing! We have the same gentleman that waits on us all. Brings us the food right to the colby room! Great service and great food! Look foward to this every year! Thank you all!

I don't how this place calls itself an Irish Pub without serving Guinness on draft.

Been here 4 times in my week stay. Order has been right once. Chicken Alfredo was worst I have had, no flavor.

Went in, first time. Beer boxes on entry wall, table full of bottles. Dingy bar. Sat at bar. Stand up glass refrigerator inside of bar, when the door opens an ungodly bright light comes on, total ambiance killer. Bar maid was hacking every 2 minutes, eating, or picking at nachos behind the bar. Never offered me a menu upon arrival. Got a drink.
Couldn’t for the life of me order food. Place is a total turn off. Just no. Paid and left. Just no.

The atmosphere is kind of plain but the wings are pretty good and they have a decent selection of draft beers. It's a bit unclear on how to actually get into the restaurant. Your best bet is to go into the hotel and ask the person behind the desk.
