Generally recommend because this is literally our favorite place… however last night was a horrible experience. It was my husbands birthday and we took our 2 kids. Amy was our server and she was AWFUL. We were there for over an hour and a half and barely got drinks and our appetizers. We ended up getting so irritated by lack of service we didn’t even eat our meals. We took them home and threw them away because at that point it was soggy and gross. So we didn’t even eat what we paid for. Instead of standing around chatting maybe actually serve your tables. Never got drink refills or asked if we wanted one for that matter. She wasn’t even the one to bring us our stuff. Other servers did because she was to busy chatting and standing around. Btw the host was fantastic and is always fantastic. She works very hard!

First we ordered the bacon dusted fries. The bacon “dust” was white and had no flavor at all. Then we ordered the lone star burger and the big bad wolf burger. Neither of the burger patty’s had any flavor. The big bad wolf had barely any pulled pork or bbq sauce on it and it was soggy. It was sub par. And that’s saying something coming from a guy who does not complain about his food at restaurants. On top of that, I am showing signs of food poisoning. We were excited because the pictures of the food on the website looked so good. When our food came out it looked nothing like the photos. 👎

I waited forc15 minutes just to order. Waited 30 minutes for a salad. It was a chicken bacon ranch salad. There was no bacon, one over cooked big chunk of chicken. Way too much lettuce. All of that for 16.95. Just awful. I took 4 bites and was done. Not worth eating.

Food is fantastic. Staff is friendly, but seem to have too many tables or at least aren't able to be very attentive. We've tried three times now, and the wait for food is intolerably long. Last time, which will be our last, it was over an hour from ordering to getting our food. Party of 4, seatef before the major dinner rush, nothing crazy ordered. We really want to like this place, but don't go unless you have a ton of time.

First time we have been and will definitely return. Had a craving for some good wings and a good IPA. We weren’t disappointed. The dry rub wings and bacon dusted fries were great. The DIPA was cold and very good. Very nice waitress who very attentive and accommodating.

Where do i even start. Everything about the Real Proper Pig is astounding. What stood out most was the brisket sandwich. When my lips came in contact with that juicy, flavorful, medium rare brisket and the comforting, fluffy, buttery, flaky white bread, my life was put on pause and all that mattered was the sandwich. After finishing the prophecy, i’ve had wet dreams and daydreams of the sandwich. I’ve missed my child’s birth, my big brothers wedding, and my own graduation just to eat the prophecy. 10/10 will have you addicted like a coke addict.
