Had heard from a friend about this new café in Waterville, and had to try it out. Went for breakfast and one of us had an almond croissant, and the other had a ham-and-cheese croissant. We both had large coffees. The coffee was great - smooth and mellow and rich. The croissants were both stellar and flaky - and the almond croissant came not only covered with toasted slivered almonds, but a healthy dab of marzipan in the center. The ham-and-cheese croissant was not overly stuffed, but there was plenty to taste and it, likewise, was marvelous. Can't wait to taste some of their many other options - or to come for lunch.
The tables are substantial and the seating comfortable, though for groups larger than four people it might be crowded. The decor is truly stellar - remindful of a quaint English bakery and coffee shoppe.
Important to know that they are closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, but open from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. the other days of the week. We'll definitely be coming back!

I love the quality of the food/baked goods at the Wild Clover. However, three times in a row, they have either forgotten to make my drink (and I have to remind them after waiting 15-20 minutes) or they never call out my name when my drink is complete and by the time I ask, the drink is lukewarm. I still like the cafe (especially the baked goods) but feel like I have wasted money just to wait longer than necessary and receive a lukewarm drink.

This is such a great spot! I picked this place to get together with some family because I saw they they had good food options for everyone, and it was the perfect choice. My mom and I ordered the shakshouka and the curried chickpea salad and both were SO fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious! The family was all happy with the various coffee and tea drinks, dishes, and pastries. I got the mimosa oolong tea and loved it! I love the Missoula tea company they source from and was excited to see it out here in Maine! The staff was beyond kind, patient, and accommodating for our little group. I would recommend this place to anyone! This cute spot is an excellent addition to the area.

Up until today I would have rated them five stars having enjoyed their delicious confections however two days ago I purchased two blueberry muffins and two blueberry scones and returned home to find they had zero sugar in them which for my gf is not enjoyable and I concur so when I visited today I mentioned this to the young man cashing me out and he agreed they had forgot the sugar , I’m not one to beg for customer service but I feel I should have been offered something other than nothing feeling my business is not appreciated so I’m now exploring other places for my baked goodies unless someone reads this and makes it right. I’m sure this is was an isolated incident but the lack of customer appreciation bothers me. Please go here it is a nice place just not my pleasure to eat sugarless scones. Update: Tanja reached out to me and assured me I’d be taken cars if and when I returned today all was made right including a very nice apology from the employee who had waited on me. Thank you Tanja I appreciate you addressing this and making it right. I absolutely love your confections and how dedicated you are to your business❤️✌️💙🙏

A superb cafe with a cozy atmosphere featuring a stocked bakery case filled with delicious, gorgeous treats. They have lunch items as well which never disappoint. The lattes are unique and delicious and I always leave wanting seconds. The customer service is fantastic and the it’s obvious the owner/proprietor knows what she’s doing.
