Had heard from a friend about this new café in Waterville, and had to try it out. Went for breakfast and one of us had an almond croissant, and the other had a ham-and-cheese croissant. We both had large coffees. The coffee was great - smooth and mellow and rich. I love the quality of the food/baked goods at the Wild Clover. However, three times in a row, they have either forgotten to make my drink (and I have to remind them after waiting 15-20 minutes) or they never call out my name when my drink is complete and by the time I ask, the drink is lukewarm. I still like the cafe (especially the baked goods) but feel like I have wasted money just to wait longer than necessary and receive a lukewarm drink.
This is such a great spot! I picked this place to get together with some family because I saw they they had good food options for everyone, and it was the perfect choice. My mom and I ordered the shakshouka and the curried chickpea salad and both were SO fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious!
