Paid over $30 for a scallop pasta dish and was really disappointed when the dish came out and it had 3 tiny bay scallops on it. Would have preferred to go anywhere else where you get actual sea scallops because we are in Maine and that's what you'd expect. At the very least, tell me you're giving me 3 tiny bay scallops so I can immediately know it's not something I'd ever pay over $30 for. Other than that, the service and atmosphere were good.
Arrived early and got a great table by a window. Server was excellent... friendly and well-informed. Drinks were brought promptly and were really good. Dinner was nicely presented and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back.
Our go to place when up in Maine. Best bolognese ever! Wait staff friendly. Get there early.
Great staff
I knew this place would be unique, but everything about my visit exceeded al expectations! The playlist was outstanding, the decor was phenomenal, and while I didn't make it early enough in the day to try the pan seared Halibut, if the Thai Brussels Sprouts, and truffle shoestring fries set the standard? I will be spending a lot of time at Bitter End. Great flavors, wonderful service. So much personality, both indoor and outdoor spaces, and plentiful parking. A splendid drink menu, including NA beers.
Highly recommend!
4.19.25 This is a unique and eclectic restaurant with an interesting menu. The food and presentation of the dishes was perfect. Our service was a bit slow but it's because they were understaffed. There's indoor and outdoor seating available with cool decor. There's lots of free parking.
My favorite restaurant in town, give it a try!
First time here and we will be back. A cold winter day in February. Elise is great- friendly and professional. Chicken Taquitos are amazing, and the clam chowder quite good! I wanted several things on menu Red Sangria is quite tasty. And they have Bud Lite for Bud drinkers. Atmosphere so cool. Vintage antique sports memorabilia on the walls. Nice bar seats 10 At capacity on a winter afternoon today. Maybe a dozen tables total. I look forward to trying the back bar and dining in summer Family friendly Couple Groups of Friends All ages. Prices quite reasonable $15-$30 A beer only 3.75 Highly recommend 🤍🤍🤍

You walk into the intial room with overflow seating and have a great outdoor seating selection during warmer weather. The main dining room is cozy with a romantic feel. It has a sports/baseball theme with memorabilia decorating the space. There is a grand bar at the back of the main dining room with lots of options and great service.
