I have recently moved to the area, and I know this place is amazing! I have been going in most days for the last week, the food and their service are absolutely spectacular!

This place has been knocked around a bit in reviews recently. I really enjoyed my chicken salad sandwich, and recommend giving Borealis a shot. Its definitely a pinch too expensive, and (holy crap it is so hot in there), but the food is worth trying.

Pretty good food, especially the BLT, took a little while and was pretty expensive, and the workers were giving us weird looks while we were dining in

Unfortunately no fresh bread of the day during my visit. We bought the only two chocolatines they had that morning around 9:15. They looked more like chocolate sidewalks. They cost really too much... $11.88 CAN... they were a little too sweet, but tasted on the seaside in Wells it was still a delight even if they had nothing to do with those of the bakeries in Quebec.

Unfortunately this experience was the Wells location, the blueberry muffin had salt on top??? The bagel egg sandwich had a cold egg? Not sure who is baking/cooking but both items are in the trash. Very disappointed.

Tried the Waldoboro location. It’s a takeout place . Their breads are fresh & delicious especially their rosemary and jalapeño breads. The staff was very helpful too.

Poor quality items. Staff does not make food to order. Stingy with items. Ordered a sausage and egg sandwich, was given a single link of sausage, cut in half... Ordered bagel with cream cheese, they wouldn't even cut the bagel or toast it. Poor quality all around.

I stopped in for lunch. Expectations based on positive experiences some many years ago and based on recent visits to their restaurant in Kittery. First noticed that the plesant dining area i remembeted was gone coverted to production space. Restroom door says staff only, blocked by trash cans. I was referred to the hardware store next door. My veggie sandwhich witg cheddar on sub roll was missing tomatoes. I asked for tomatoes, told they had none. Might behe sandwich had one ounce of cheddar. But I doubt it. Indifferent, poorly executed and badly managed. Good bread. So what. Stop pretending to serve food to the public.

We are regulars here. We love the baked goods and often get sandwiches. The bread is amazing! Roast beef thrempherbe panini is my favorite! Wonderful and friendly staff.

They have amazing croissants, scones and muffins baked daily. Their breads are mostly a sourdough style and are great too.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to grab a sandwich (Reuben Panini on Multi grain-so good) in March 2024.
