When you’re on vacation, you don’t go to the same chain restaurants you have back home, you look for local spots, and we found a good one. Up from NJ and sightseeing along the coast, we looked for a local spot that seemed to have something good before calling it a night. We weren’t disappointed. Did a two night stay in Maine to see the fall foliage and to eat lots of lobster. We stumbled on this jem of a place in Wells. The service is outstanding, folks were really laid back and nice. The $22 lobster rolls were are go to starter on the menu. Home style fare very reasonably priced.
Food was pretty underwhelming, but the salad bar was nice with a lot of options. Definitely wouldn’t go back for the food or the atmosphere. Our server, Therese, was great though!
