Comfort Food Restaurants near Wells, ME

“we went to the diner for lunch we spent a hour and a half waiting for our lunch. Tables beside us and behind us some tables further away from us got there food before us. When our finally arrived my Mac and cheese was over cooked and slightly over burnt. My husband's food was alright . When he went to pay the bill the manager said the new system takes time we are not McDonald's. She also said are we in a hurry today. That's not the point. That's no way to treat a paying customer. We didn't get I'm sorry or anything off our bill for the new system screw ups. We will not be back for quite a while. The waitress seemed to ignore us. Your manager needs a attitude adjustment. “This was our fourth time staying at the Nonantum Resort, and each visit has delivered the same amazing experience that keeps us coming back. The view from our room overlooking the water and the boats is absolutely picturesque. The staff truly go above and beyond. They make you feel like part of the family, and their customer service is consistently warm and welcoming. We were once again pleasantly surprised by how good the food is at the onsite restaurant. The breakfasts in particular are incredible—fresh, hearty, and delicious. This time, we rented bikes and cruised around Kennebunkport, which we highly recommend to anyone visiting. It was a fun and relaxing way to explore the area. Nonantum has become one of our all-time favorite places to stay. We highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Kennebunkport.“
