I frequently buy the chicken croissant sandwich when I go to Congdons donuts. but it has always been missing my favorite side which are chips. so last Sunday I’m in there buying the sandwich, and lo and behold they had just started offering chips! now just add a pickle! Win win!

I had the apple fritter, Boston cream, and lemon filled. The lemon curd was good, not nearly the best I've had, but definitely good just wish it had a little more filling, the apple fritter was as expected, only complaint is completely out of their hands so I can't fault them on it, I just wish it was a little warm vice cold, like it had been chilled, the Boston cream also was as expected all in all not bad at all, I will be back, but next time I'll come earlier in the am vice as late as I did this time, service was incredible the cashier friendly and curious and patient great service

The fritters are mouth watering! We were visiting from NJ and got the blueberry and maple bacon fritters. Never had anything like them in my life! Will definitely be back for more on our next trip to Maine.

Staff always friendly, even so early in the morning! The only improvement I have to suggest is a longer blueberry picking season because we missed the blueberry cake donuts in August! Traveled from NY to ME in July and October and will be back to see you in December. Always make a stop at Congdon's!
