Can't say enough good things about The Catch! I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's never disappointed. The most recent visit was great especially now that there's air conditioning and they've opened up the floor plan. It makes the atmosphere much more pleasant, less cramped, and cool without losing the New England beach town charm. The staff have always been pleasant and the food is fast and tasty. Highly recommend putting this place on your list anytime you're in Wells or nearby. It's worth any wait!

Fisherman’s Catch never disappoints! Our go to spot when we visit Wells! We were thrilled to learn they were staying open year round. We were looking forward to dinner after our travels and last night they were closing early due to I’m assuming the holiday. (Which is totally understandable) so when we showed up at 7pm, they happily made us a takeaway meal for us to enjoy in our hotel room. I was skeptical at first getting seafood takeaway… but as always fisherman catch never disappoints! Food was moist and delicious. And came out very quickly. We will be back soon!
Absolute worst lobster roll I’ve ever had. We’d been a few years ago and it was great. The lobster didn’t even come to the top of the hot dog roll. Lobster was wet like previously frozen and after paying $32 they charged an extra dollar for butter (they didn’t have to use mayo??). So disappointing. And if you want steamed lobster it was $33 for 1 and $59.99 for 2. Go elsewhere people. And it’s served on paper plates with plastic utensils which would be bad if it was a deal. Stay away.

This was our first visit to Maine and we were on the quest for good lobster 🦞 We checked out a lot of places and read many reviews and settled on Fisherman's Catch. The clam chowder was one of the best I've had. The lobster was fresh and had a good flavor. Eating it was a bit unconventional, having to Crack it and dig the meat out, etc. The wait staff was fantastic.

We had a great experience stopping by the fisherman's catch for an afternoon lunch. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the lobster tacos. We also had the seafood chowder, which was great with just a hint of spice. The atmosphere and the food was great, and the service was prompt and friendly. Prices were average but acceptable. Restaurant sits off the road in a quiet area and was very relaxing. We would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Fisherman’s Catch is everything you’d hope for in a small-town coastal seafood restaurant — and then some. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service that made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d picture in a classic Maine seafood spot: casual, welcoming, and filled with the mouthwatering scent of fresh seafood. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the portions were absolutely incredible — generous, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tasted fresh and delicious, the kind of meal that makes you want to come back again before you’ve even left.
And don’t skip dessert. Seriously. It was the perfect sweet finish to an already outstanding meal. Located in a town with deep fishing roots, Fisherman’s Catch captures the heart of coastal Maine — simple, authentic, and full of charm. This place easily earns all five stars and a spot on our must-visit list whenever we’re in the area.

I ordered clams, but being from Ohio I have never experience pisser clams. They were not good, Sandy and had tentacles and a black foot sticking out. Kinda gross to me. I'm used to little neck clams. My waitress was very nice and the place was worth a visit. I also had lobster bisque which was excellent

Love this restaurant. We have been here several times and never had a bad meal. My wife isn't one to eat seafood and they have other options that are great. She loves the pulled pork. The chowder and seafood are excellent too.
