I am not from Maine but whenever my beautiful lady and myself go to Maine, we eat at Fishermans catch. The service, the food and the staff are over the top, they don't make a review that high. Food is great, prices are very reasonable. The only problem I have with it, is that it closes for the winter.
We got there close to the end of the night. Parking was easy, but I have to say the street it's on its very, very dark! Aside from that, the service was great. Food plentiful and delicious and prices not bad. We started with the clam chowda, perfectly creamy and full of clams! And it came perfectly hot ( chilly night and it was appreciated) then (on the suggestion of our awesome waitress) we got the fisherman's plate. More than enough food for 2 people! The clam...
So happy we stumbled upon this little place. Excellent food, not crowded, quick service. I had some of the best seafood chowder that I've ever had. Nice light crispy batter on the fried fish.
