Had an awful experience. I went for lunch january 11th. We got seated by Emily our waitress. I wanted to get the chicken tender meal which was supposed to come with a baked potato and a corn muffin. She brought over our food and it didn’t look like she brought me a meal. Just a few tenders and some fries. I had asked her oh is this the meal? She said no. I then asked for the meal. Had to wait at least 20 minutes just to get a few more tenders and fries when I was supposed to get a baked potato and a corn muffin. She was extremely unprofessional, rude and unpleasant to approach and ask a question. She changed me with an extra frie when I never asked for that and charged me full price which was 25$. This place has unfortunately gone way downhill. So sad to see.

Haven't been to the diner in years. Very disappointed. My husband had the homemade chili, but didn't taste it. Maybe it was just old. I had the chicken pot pie. It had more vegetables then chicken & the gravy in it was ery clumpy. Staff was excellent.
Can't believe they serve Harmons clam cake. I figured they would make their own. The haddock was good

Maine Diner – A Sweet Return
I hadn’t been to the Maine Diner in a long time, so I was excited to be back in the area and able to stop in for a quick dessert and coffee. I started my visit in the gift shop, where both ladies working were absolutely lovely and welcoming. I picked up a couple of gifts before heading over to the diner side.
I originally planned on ordering pie, but then I spotted the Indian pudding on the menu; something my mom used to make. So I couldn’t resist trying their version. I ordered it warm with vanilla ice cream on top, and it was such a comforting, nostalgic treat. 🥰And it was very affordable for the serving size!
I also love the diner’s old-fashioned setup, with the classic counter seating and swivel stools. (They have booths and tables, as well). The waitress was very friendly, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. It was really nice to return to a local spot I hadn’t visited in a while. It felt familiar, cozy, and comforting.

Been here multiple timess. Despite it being small, a diner, they were able to accommodate our family of 9 very quickly this past weekend. Food was wonderful, service was great. 10/10
