Excellent breakfast spot in Wells. Great location. Peaceful and away from the main road. Cute and cozy on the inside. The best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had. My son got the blueberry pancake and said it was the best he’s ever had. We will be back!!
We had a delicious breakfast this morning. What a hidden gem. Nikki was a wonderful server!
Beautiful friendly location. Challenging but not frustrating.
Awesome place. Owners are so friendly and the course is so much fun.
Awesome short par 3 course, well run and maintained
They have terrible table service. They show up on Google as being the best place. When all the restaurant is; is a complete mess for serving big party’s of a family of 10, or more.
Beautiful course! Even better owners. Walk only. Well groomed. My sons and I had a memorable time here. We were on the road and after a quick search we lucked into this place. We had a great time. Absolutely unbeatable prices.
Reservations are recommended!!! Took my husband here for the first time and he also loved it! Love the mimosa selection too!
Food, atmosphere, and staff are great! It is worth the trip. I love the apple bacon burger with the feta salad instead of the fries. So delicious!

We went to the Merriland Farm Café in Wells, ME on Friday, 4/19/2024. The food was delicious as usual. There were two issues, which might very well be related. First, there was the server, Olivia. The server: 1) When we asked us to order, she stood 10 feet away from us and it was odd and challenging hearing her. 2) She also dropped my credit card on the floor. She picked it up and simply handed it to me; there was no attempt to wipe it off. 3) Three or four times, she told us that she could not wait for her shift to end because she had 2-3 days off. The business practice: 1) The menu indicated nothing about different charges for substitutes. 2) I ordered a side of pancakes, which were $6.00. She asked if I wanted blueberry pancakes or plain, which was not differentiated in the menu. I was not told that it would cost 1/3 more. I said fine. 3) The same problem occurred with the maple syrup. Olivia asked if I wanted the house syrup or locally produced. She indicated that the locally produced was delicious so I said fine. That was an extra $3.00. 4) She asked my wife what type of cheese she wanted in her omelet. My wife said Swiss cheese, which was an extra $3.00. 5) Upon receiving the bill, I asked Olivia about the extra charges indicating that we did not see any notice on the menu nor did she inform of us these extra charges. Her response was that “he” told her to handle such matters this way. So, we had to deal with a strange server, who behaved unethically allegedly at the direction of some other person, who I assume is a manager or the owner. The bottom line is that we had to pay for extras that we did not were additional charges.

After sitting for twenty minutes without as much as a cup of coffee and a later arriving table being served before us, we decided to leave.
Beautiful 9 hole golf course
This is a nice casual spot where we had a really good brunch. The food is definitely a little more elevated than your typical breakfast cafe. I had the lobster cake benedict which was very good. I really like their seasoning on the Bernaise. He had the biscuits and gravy which he absolutely loved. The brisket was soo tender and delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful. She let us know a table of 17 was about to order so we could get our order in ahead. It's a pretty small place and there were no walk ins available the morning we were there so reserve ahead!
