we have a cranky two year old and needed easy take out for dinner. the new england house was RIGHT next door to where we are staying. online ordering was easy, came out quickly, pick up was fast and food was exactly what we paid for. would go again!
Me and my wife had been driving by this place for the last three years we finally went in tonight got seated right away. The food came out very quick. The appetizers were great. The service was great. The food was great. The drinks were great 10 out of 10.
All around good place; prices, food quality and service and easy to access from a busy Rte 1.
Great service, from the hostesses to the wait staff. Clean, friendly, family atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for a vacation area. My go-to from now on.
Fantastic service and server
Good place for a variety of menu items. Friendly greeting and service. Fish sandwich well cooked and good size. Fish tacos were good but different from the typical we've had at other places. Excellent red skin potato salad. Prices typical of resort area in high season.
Best place in southern Maine
We would go back. Very good food. Reasonable prices. Nice staff members.
We were there today for lunch! Greeted by Sammy-Abby and Casey! First time since new ownership! Great atmosphere and the wait staff was awesome! The food just like always was amazing and the portions are always generous! Give The New England House Seafood & Sports Bar a try-you'll be so glad you did! :)
The waitstaff were uneducated about their menu items. After the food was not as expected, the management’s attempt to handle the situation was sub-par service. Disappointing.

Service was great, food was mediocre. The atmosphere was inviting. Kid friendly environment, a bit pricey for what I received as a meal. The drinks are priced well though!!! I will probably be back, just order something different (dinner combo meal $28.99) the chicken breast was a thin sliced breast... More like something I would expect as a sandwich, but the jumbo shrimp were jumbo. The baked beans and pasta salad (had to add salt and pepper) were good

We ordered take out. The hostess who took our order was very friendly. Food came out in decent time.
We got a lobster roll - was mediocre for the price. (We get a lot in Maine) and we got a fish sandwich - was on menu as “catch of the day” - my husband asked what it was and was told it’s Haddock, always haddock.
He said the fish was ok, smaller size and left an after taste in his mouth.
We have driven by here several times and it’s always busy.
We will not be going back due to food quality and the price of lunch over $50.
We expected better for a busy place.
