The owner was extremely rude to my family and myself when we went in today for lunch. After spending close to 200.00 on lobster rolls and chowder he decided to snap at my at me and argue with me about the sides of fries that we ordered saying that we hadn’t ordered any.

Good selection of fresh seafood and friendly staff. Crab cakes were decent and cheap, but seemed more like packaged variety than in-house made.

This is it, the best place for top quality seafood and service. The restaurant is impeccably maintained and the food it out of this world. Eat in or on the outside picnic tables across from the ocean. It really is a special place to visit and enjoy lunch or dinner while in Wells. We went 4 times the week we were there. Must stop.

High price food for what we got will not do that again outside sitting
We visit Wells Beach a couple of times each year, and the Lobster Pound has become a regular highlight for us. Great food, very reasonable prices, and extremely friendly customer service. We're genuinely sad they're not open for our first visit this year, but can't wait to eat here again later in the season.
