I've been coming to Brea Lu Cafe for about 20 years. Started when they were on Forest Ave in Portland, and followed them to both of their Westbrook locations. Brea Lu has remained one of my favorite places all these years. The food is always good, and they always have creative, delicious specials that keep me coming back.

I love breakfast/lunch only places, but here the food and service detract from the experience. We felt abandoned while waiting to be seated and were walking out when we finally were directed to a table in a half-full restaurant. Then we nearly walked out again when no server came. Finally our orders, both breakfast and lunch items, came and were just okay. Good Bloody Marys, though.
