Roast Beef was phenomenal, everything else was lack luster. Pretty sure the homemade lemonade had gone sour, it tasted like wine.

George and Leons in Westbrook, Maine, is a gem for comfort food lovers. The roast beef sandwiches are incredible—juicy, stacked high, and every bite is satisfying. The onion rings? Massive, literally the size of my face, with a perfect golden crunch. Their freshly made chicken sandwiches with chipotle bring just the right kick, while the chicken tendies are honestly better than any fast-food joint could dream of serving. Add in some fun drinks to share with friends, and it makes for the ultimate casual hangout spot.

The vibes are also on point—spooky and festive, perfect for the upcoming Halloween season. And if you’re a fan of North Shore-style roast beef, you’ll want to try the super beef here. It seriously rivals some of the best you’ll find in Massachusetts.

All in all, an easy 9/10—this place nails both food and atmosphere.

It's been a really long time since I have gone out to eat and been blown away by food. The sandwiches here are it and so damn good. The amazing service here is just the phenomenal cherry on top. I cannot wait to come back.

Fun and friendly staff, eclectic vibe. The roast beef is just how it should be.. Tender, juicy and seasoned to perfection. The way they toast their bread is worth the visit alone. 10 out of 10 hidden gem

I love George and Leons. Every time I go, the experience is unmatched. Best steak and cheese in Maine, crispy fries, generous and fast customer service, and the best lil vibe. Cannot recommend this enough for my fellow beef sandwich
eaters. You won't regret it. Probably ever.

George and Leon’s has been on my list for a while because I’m gluten free and they have a GF bun. I got the Jr sandwich which was still huge and delicious! Melt in your mouth tender roast beef. Easy casual dinner spot, easy parking. I’ll be back!

George and Leon's is one of my favorite spots to stop in for lunch or dinner. It's great both solo or with friends. The staff has always been so nice, funny, and helpful every time I've been here. I love having a spot that is both casual with booths and a fun menu, and also has a full bar. Want it to go? Fine. Wanna stay and have 5-7 beers? Always fine! My favorite things to get are the Jr. Beef (perfect size for me), chicken finger sub, cheeseburger sub, big salad, broccoli bites and onion rings. Not all at the same time haha. Coming for dinner tonight with a friend for their first time and have been thinking about it all day <3 Long live the beef!

Usually order take out on Tuesdays and all of my sandwiches have been top notch and as ordered. My only complaint is I wish G+L was closer to my house!

OG beef joint in Maine! From their food truck to brick and mortar this place has always delivered quality food with a kind and friendly owner! Love there is a full bar and vegetarian options! Plus the vibe is laidback and fun! There is a reason this spot is so respected both in Maine and in the North Shore beef community.

Got food poisoning this last Saturday for the low price of $65 bucks. Surprised but also not surprised that other reviews say the same! My husband picked it up and said the music was insanely loud and the girl helping him acted like he was an idiot because he didn’t initially hear her ask about his T-shirt. Yeah, never coming back!

$17 for 1 sandwich that doesn't include fries or chips. We ordered a chicken sandwich, a roast beef sandwich and a side of onion rings and the total was $51. The sandwiches were covered in sauce so much that we could not pick them up with our hands. The Onion rings were good but not enough for the price. The awkward hostess/waitress was very weird.
