Wow! Just found out about this. Amazing. Tastes like a Sam Smith's nut brown ale. Pemaquid.
This place is never open. I have tried on 3 separate occasions to go here, and I have never seen any sign that the tasting room even exists. There are no hours listed on the building. There is an assortment of random chairs outside, and an extremely faded sign, but nobody serving beer. If i hadn't bought their beer in other venues, I would assume they were permanently closed.
Best beer in Maine! Also, a friendly group of people that hang out on Friday evenings.

A delightful independent brewery. There, you can enjoy a tasty, small batch beer under a rustic awning with friendly locals and lovely scenery. I thoroughly enjoyed the Stout and my wife's favorite thus far is the Double Brown. While it is very reasonably price, you must bring cash. Cheers!
You’ll drive out in the Maine woods until you’re on dirt roads. Keep going and you’ll find the barn. But don’t count on it being open. We drove up from Cape Cod…but didn’t check their website. They closed for 2 weeks…offering to open it for 2-3 hours occasionally. Total disappointment.
Always can’t wait to head to Maine for the summer and get my Pemaquid. Especially since my cottage is on Pemaquid point . Fantastic beer ! Keep it up . Have been drinking it for years! Always the same. A 10
In my opinion the best tasting beer in the state, Pemaquid Ale straight from the source cant be beat.

Happy to be invited to Pints on the Pier. Steve had the best beer by far of all the others. And by gosh, I tried all. Kept returning to Sheepscott.
Best beer in maine
Nice owner who is very friendly and chats with everyone! Makes you feel welcomed! Pemaquid Ale brought us there, his other beers keep us coming back for more....and we live in New Jersey! My husband travels from New Jersey to Maine for Mad Goose, the Stout, New Harbor Lager....just to name a few...to fill his growlers!
