My partner and I have both gotten extremely sick after eating here. We gave it a couple of tries in case it was a fluke. I will never eat here again.

No more hibachi tables. I paid $28 for filet and chicken and the veggies were overdone and everything was soupy in an overly soy sauced mess. Appetizers were good and my niece liked the sushi she got. Wouldn’t rush back. Sad really. We always loved it here for table hibachi.

They must've been short handed. We waited a long time for service and there was no follow-up. No eye contact was made with service. Took order and ran! Dropped off food and ran! Never came back to check on us.

Our favorite place for sushi & sashimi. We visit nearly every time we drive in or out of Portland. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place. We've been coming here for years and it's always a consistently good experience! Their sushi is some of, if not the best around Windham.

First thing walking in, we noticed I r was freezing inside. Everyone that came in said the same thing. We sat down and the waiter came over. He seemed to be in a hurry to get our order. My husband ordered a drink and the waiter went and made it as there was no bartender. Then again, we felt rushed to make a decision. Having never been here before I was unsure of what to get. I am used to Chinese food not Japanese except for hibachi. Anyway, i ordered crab Rangoon, which was delicious! I also ordered general tso's chicken which I thought was terrible. I also ordered chicken fried rice because everything comes with white rice which i.am not big on. The fried rice was ok. Then I ordered salt and pepper chicken which the waiter informed me was not wings, just chicken. We wanted wings but apparently Japanese does not have wings. We got the chicken and for me, it was totally inedible along with the general tso's chicken. The salt and pepper chicken was very smoky. Tasted like a combination of really bad oil cooked at a very high heat.so that horrible taste came through.so all I ate was crab Rangoon and a little fried rice. I could not eat either of the chicken dishes. The general tso's was not like the kind you would fund in a Chinese restaurant. It did not have that delicious sweet/hot sauce over nice, slightly crunchy chicken that I am used to.
My husband ordered chicken and broccoli that he said was totally bland. All in all, the prices were ok. BTW, I also got miso soup. First time having it so I don't know what it is supposed to taste like. To me, it was extremely fishy tasting and once again, could not eat it. Bottom line, I would not want to go back there again.

My orange soda tasted like cleaner was left in the cup before filling it. The crab rangoons had almost no crab and tasted like just cream cheese. The spicy tuna roll seemed like mostly bread crumbs, and the orange chicken was nothing to write home about. Servers seemed to be rushing people in and out despite it not being busy. Prices were relatively low and portion sizes were pretty good, but it honestly wasn’t worth it even then, definitely won’t be going back.

Qin served me at the bar, and the service was good, but what made me write this is that when I went to pay the bill, the change he gave me didn't include smaller extra little bills to suggest the amount of tip he wanted. He gave me 4 ones, and a ten indicating nothing and accepting a smaller tip. I can't remember ever having a waiter be so subtly graceful. I did give him more, but I wanted to acknowledge his integrity and class.
