Great camaraderie...specials monthly..Best natured barkeeps and waitresses you will find in central Maine....Thursday night live entertainment ( Dylan Brann is the best one to see and hear) Wed night Trivia with Ryan...this is the friendliest sports minded , local watering hole, date night place in the area....

Had dinner here on 10 24 Friday night there were 5 of us. There was not enough wait staff on duty, over 2 hours to be served. One person’s dinner came about 5 minutes after everyone else due to not preparing the onion rings on time. Two of us had cheeseburgers, we both became sick b4 we left. The illlness continued through the night. We did not realize we were both sick until the next day when we saw each other again. The beef tasted a little off but assumed they changed brands. The beef has to have been bad. I expected better as the staff and food is usually very good. There should also be another way to contact the restaurant other than this way. Not able to message on Facebook.

Pretty loud place. Food was OK. Steak tips were over cooked. Kind of pricey for a pub. Our waitress never brought our appetizer. She brought our dinners out first. Asked if there was anything else and we asked about the app... she looked confused. Then said she thought she brought it out. Came back to check on us once. Bus boy asked if we wanted boxes. She brought the check about 15 minutes after him and apologized for abandoning us. $100 for two entrees and 4 alcoholic beverages.
We live in Vassalboro, but this is one of the best eateries in the Waterville-Augusta area. We've eaten there about a hundred times, over the years and always get a good meal. Service is also very good and the waitresses are pretty cute, if that matters to you.

Went to the Pointe Afta, last night (Thursday the 24 of April 2025 had a large chef salad, it was the biggest and best chef salad I’ve ever had. All the vegetables, lettuce, tomato, green peppers cucumbers, cheese, ham and turkey rolled and hard boiled eggs were delicious. When I say big it was worth every cent. Thank you for all the freshness’s!
