They always have some of the best fried food around, especially the onion rings!!! The scallops portion seemed a little small at first, but the cook noticed the same and brought out a few more, which made me feel they cared about their food and customers. I stop here every year after Monkey C, and you should too! The crab roll is also good 👍

Great service and food! Greeted with a smile and immediate attention when you walk through the door. Clam strips and pistachio ice cream were delightful! Definitely worth stopping on your way through coastal Maine!

Most of the restaurants in the area aren't open "for the season" yet, but the Sea Basket was, so we stopped in for lunch. The menu is small, but everything is cooked just right, and delicious. I had the shrimp basket, which came with fries (as usual), but also a warm, buttered roll, rather than the usual cold roll or bag of chips. The shrimp was cooked exactly as it should be, not the overcooked rubbery mess frequently served in other states. The breading was crisp and tasty. The condiment bar lets you dispense the amount of ketchup or tartar sauce that you want, into a small paper cup. The dining indoor area is clean and roomy. (There's also an outdoor area, with umbrella -shaded tables.) There is a wide variety of beverages, from the standard Coke fountain to Moxie (if you know, you know) to local small batch drinks, such as the Green Bee "Lemon Sting" - carbonated water with honey, lemon juice, and rosemary.
Pleasant lunch stop while traveling. Delicious haddock basket special! Ample serving size.
Parking: Not too busy since it was a late lunch, mid week so we were able to park with our 28' trailer.

The worst French fries I have ever had! The fish basket was 60% filled with a roll and fries that you probably cannot even eat. They weren’t fried well, soft ( who eats French friend soft!!) and non of the fried stuff felt fried, it felt more like air fried! Dry n tasteless! The calamari, some of them were raw from inside! TERRIBLE! Find another place n there are tons actually!
