“Dined here last night for the first time on Valentine’s Day. Even though they were incredibly busy they went above and beyond to make sure we left incredibly happy and wanting to return. Beautiful atmosphere, great food and drinks, lovely service.”

“When Red's has a line down the street (which is 90% of the time), going to Sprague's is a no brainer. Their food is incredibly reasonably priced and offers exactly what you would expect. The lobster dinner is truly a great price for what you get! I love sitting out on the deck and watching the seagulls on the water. The area also includes a very sweet little stand in which you can buy jams and other canned goods, as well as a small little building with some information on the history of the area. The staff is friendly and personable, and truly makes the atmosphere comfortable and authentically "Maine". It is truly family business -- the type that I love to support. Just know that it is cash/check only and there is an ATM on site.”

“The wait was an hour. But it was well WORTH the time. They don’t measure or weigh the lobster. They just load it up. I had leftovers. I have a healthy appetite but I couldn’t finish it all. I opted to not even eat the majority of the roll. It was tasty with the awesome warm butter that is served with it. This was my first visit but not my last. Awesome hard working folks.”

“Fried Seafood that melts in your mouth! I have experience as a fry cook, and I am very particular about where I eat. They change their fry oil daily. Makes all the difference. When in Wiscasset , Maine- make it a plan to eat here. You will be happy you did! No waitstaff- so tip the cooks! They deserve it!”

“Restaurant was quiet for Thursday lunch. Food was delicious. I had the pansit tagalog which had mixed meat over noodles and veggies. The sauce was light, more akin to thai than Chinese. The fortune cookie was a little stale, but I was super impressed with the pork ribs so that made up for it.”

“The customer service is excellent, and the food has me coming back pretty much every day. They have a great selection to keep from getting bored, and I have lost 5 lbs so far by eating healthier. (But they have snacks and cookies, too, so I can still have a treat when I want.) All in all, this particular subway is my favorite.? (and yes. Sometimes there is a line. “This location is typical of a Dunkin' Donuts recent 'refresh', with lots of places to sit and eat plus a good amount of light coming in through the windows & glass entryway.Parking: Parking is out front and eat to see; something like 20 spots, all within a few paces of the store's front door.”

“I had dinner at this restaurant while visiting Wiscasset over the weekend on a recommendation from family who lives locally, we actually went twice!! So safe to say we were fans! The decor and surroundings themselves were so homey and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, I am dreaming about the Haddock sandwich still! Truly the only complaint was the size of the salads which a few members of our party ordered was slightly disappointing. But they said that the flavor was fantastic and the shrimp they added was big and delicious! We also had the crème brûlée for dessert which I am also still dreaming of and probably will be for a while!! The service was fantastic, we absolutely loved our waitress! The whole atmosphere was wonderful; and I am sure we will be back next time we are in town visiting!!”

“I accidentally left my purse behind at the Bred in the Bone brunch restaurant. Accommodating doesn’t even begin to describe the kindness they showed me. They secured my belongings safely and hand delivered them to me all the way from Damariscotta to Freeport ME. They were quick to communicate and empathize with me on such a stressful day. I thought for sure my purse would have been stolen but they were on top of their game and the staff saved me so much financial heart ache with their efforts. Bonus points to owner Beth & Employee Roz who saved the day!Not to mention, I had a fabulous cappuccino @ Bred in the Bone.”

“Coffee shop attached to a wonderful bookstore. This is a must visit if you are in the area. Great selection of coffee, tea, baked goodies, and egg sandwiches. Can be crowded on busy weekends, but they move it along, pretty quickly. Never had trouble finding a place to seat. They also have outside seating!”

The mocktails were convincing and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and a little rustic but classy as well. A hard balance to strike. Our waitress was charming and genuine. I will definitely be back.
