Great service and food! Greeted with a smile and immediate attention when you walk through the door. Clam strips and pistachio ice cream were delightful! Definitely worth stopping on your way through coastal Maine!
Most of the restaurants in the area aren't open "for the season" yet, but the Sea Basket was, so we stopped in for lunch. The menu is small, but everything is cooked just right, and delicious. \n\nI had the shrimp basket, which came with fries (as usual), but also a warm, buttered roll, rather than the usual cold roll or bag of chips. The scallops portion seemed a little small at first, but the cook noticed the same and brought out a few more, which made me feel they cared about their food and customers. I stop here every year after Monkey C, and you should too!
