So much lobster on each roll! Perfectly cooked and they are generous with the butter for dipping. I don’t think it gets any better than this!

The wait was an hour. But it was well WORTH the time. They don’t measure or weigh the lobster. They just load it up. I had leftovers. I have a healthy appetite but I couldn’t finish it all. I opted to not even eat the majority of the roll. It was tasty with the awesome warm butter that is served with it. This was my first visit but not my last. Awesome hard working folks.

This little restaurant is PERFECT! The wait staff was so friendly and kind. They walked around with lobster kabob appetizers while we were waiting in line and they were fantastic! The lobster rolls were the BEST we had the entire trip to Maine! The scallops were out of this world. We got there at 11:15 and waited til around 12:20 for food. It was worth the wait! It was our honeymoon and the staff was so kind and celebrated with us! Great people and food! Thank you!

I recently drove from Long Island to Boothbay Harbor in Maine. My daughter Rita, brother Phil and I were on a mission to visit "Red's Eats" in Wiscaset. Debbie Gagnon and the amazing Red's team did not disappoint!! The food was outstanding!! The best lobster rolls on the east coast!! Debbie and the team were wonderful!! We are already planning our next trip!!

It was $34 for "the best Lobster roll in Maine." Wish I could say that the line went fast, but it does not. Definitely not worth the wait. Don't waste your time. Giving it 3 stars for Moxie!

Lobster roll was fantastic and the staff were very nice. The owner however was a completely different matter. After waiting over an hour in line (which we understood to be the case and had no problem with ) we placed our order and they took our money. The owner then begain serving huge plates of food to a film crew on the scene and gave an interview at the only window distributing orders which delayed our order and those of her paying customers at least another 30-40 minutes. She then became incensed when people started to complain. The owner obviously places PR ahead of her customers. Best advice - go to the lobster shack across the street!

This was the best place we ate on our Maine trip. We waited in line for over an hour but it was so worth it. The lobster roll was delicious.

11 in our party drove an hour and a half in 3 cars to eat at Red's Eats. We met Janet while in line, she was making sure everyone was OK, and offering appetizers for those who could not wait . When it looked like possible rain, she was offering umbrellas to use. We then met Casey, who is equally pleasant and fun to visit with. We had the lobster rolls and lobster kebabs, both were AMAZING. You can see the roll buried under all the lobster, but not much- theres a LOT of lobster. There is a good reason the line is so long, don't be discouraged by it, the wait is so worth it. Thank you again Casey and Janet.

OMG the absolute tastiest lobster meat I’ve ever eaten in my entire life was at this location! We waited a LONG time. We questioned our sanity….. we were blown away by the flavor. If it wasn’t such a long wait we’d be back every day hahahaha. Yes, it’s that good!

It wouldn’t be a mother-daughter trip to Maine without a stop at Red’s Eats! The lobster roll was huge, fresh and delicious! So much so that we went twice while we were visiting! Casey and Deb were wonderful, getting everyone’s order perfect! Don’t let the line deter you! Come early, before they open, to snag a place in line. Can’t wait to visit again

After meeting the founder AL GAGNON , & turning friends & family on to this little patch of heaven, I finally made it back to see how Al’s daughter Debbie has made this a MUST visit in Maine for the best lobster rolls on the planet , & much more ! & it’s not about the delicious food , it’s about the love & energy Debbie & her crew put into serving their customers, like family !

We saw this restaurant on Andrew Zimmerman’s show, Delicious Destinations, and wanted to add it to our list of places to eat while in Maine on our vacation. Even though we had a long wait, it was completely worth it! Do not pass this restaurant over because of the line! The lobster roll, fried shrimp, and fish and chips were the best we had all week. Chef Shannon and her team are so nice and friendly. We hope you enjoy your experience here as much as we did! Perfect ending to a great vacation! Enjoy!

Be prepared for a two hour wait!! If the line stretches to the corner when you arrive, you’ll be standing in it for at least that long before you order. You will see about 20% of the people in line give up and walk away. Cash or check only. There are a lot of lobster rolls in Maine that require less of a commitment. Be forewarned.

The biggest Lobster roll ever. Stuffed with cold lobster meat on a nice buttered roll. They understand what folks wait in line for.... ( Almost 2 hrs). They provided water and tasty piece of shrimp along with shade umbrellas as you wait beside a busy street. Would be nice to have a bench or two ( hopefully they will repair the deck over the off-season).
