Atmosphere and waitress were wonderful but not worth the $36 for the one cup of gummy lukewarm pasta with a sprinkling of chewy lobster claw meat. The menu stated that it was cooked in butter...not any butter flavor at all..as a matter of fact it was a dribbling of a bland cream sauce that didn't even coat the pasta. My husband ordered a burger well done and it came med rare after a 35 min wait...the waitress was very apologetic and ordered another burger for us...after another 30 mins it came correctly but I guess you have to ask for everything like mayo because it was dry...anyway...I did not complain about my pasta because I did not want them to think we were trying to comp a meal...we were going to pay and then let them know but the waitress noticed that I had not eaten and asked if something was wrong. I explained the issue and once she told the management they allowed her to charge us only for the hamburger which was appreciated... never the less...the chef should be ashamed and so should the sloppy management...no wonder they encourage alcohol there...maybe you won't notice the terrible wait for the questionable food! Would NOT recommend!

We took our son and daughter in law for his birthday. The setting was beautiful and the service great. Our appetizers and entrees were quick and delicious. We hope to go back again when in the area.

One of the best restaurants in Maine. Food and service is great and the location on the waterfront is beautiful.

Came in here for lunch on a whim earlier this week and had a great lunch with my family! I ordered the grilled street corn and the fried haddock sandwich - both were great! Others at my table had the fish and chips, lobster pasta, and garlic bread and everyone was happy with their food! Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Really cute spot, nice bar and the steak I had was stellar. Service was paced and slow but it was slammed so I understand being in the weeds on a booked out night. Im definitely coming back, idk when but I will!

The salmon with the lobster hash was so good. I could have eaten just the hash and been happy! ?

I waited 35 minutes for brussel sprout appetizer and chicken entree. Never came. Eventually I paid for my drink and left. I live in maine and am accustomed to slower pace, but this was ridiculous. Other patrons did same thing when I left. Don’t go unless you have 2 hours to kill.

Great view of the water, wait staff friendly and professional. Food pretty good, had a burger once that was cold and sent it back. They made me a new one.

stopped in for lunch yesterday. service was lovely and we got a beautiful table by the window looking out at the water. food was hit or miss. asparagus soup was delicious but the kale salad was some underdressed kale plopped on the plate and the $25 fish and chips was one small piece of dry cornmeal crusted fish and a tiny portion of fries. would come back for drinks and oysters!

I give the Water Street Kitchen and Bar 3/5. The ambience was nice and the food was decent, but for the price and setting I would have expected larger portions and higher quality dishes.
