Must have been an off night for the place. The guy sitting at the bar greeted us like we were intruders. Didn’t see a smile on his face while we were there. Service and food were okay, but we didn’t feel particularly welcome, so we didn’t really enjoy the meal.
It is hard to pick between the scullery burger and the haddock sandwich, but the haddock comes with potato chips that are handmade with dill herbs in them and it is AMAZING. I usually give employees and sometimes clients gift cards to eat here because your $ goes SO MUCH FURTHER than it will in portland for great food and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend this little gem.
Had the opportunity to go tonight!!! Amazing all around, nice place, great customer service and excellent food! We had the Brussels Sprout, garlic knots and homemade tomato Bisque to start and then the Fish & Chips and “Not You’re Average BLT” for dinner…. All were excellent!!
