Downtown in the heart of York is this little gem. I ordered a grilled cheese which was simple but great! If you’re hungry before dessert the Fat Tomato is great and just about across the street! M a fabulous ice cream shop! I highly recommend both!

Not only was my sandwich excellent(Fat Tomato Burger with in house made bacon jam), everyone around me had amazing looking food! The owner popped out and asked if everything was good, nice guy. Be mindful, they can be busy. But they're busy for good reason. I need to go back and try the steak and cheese. I saw one come out, that's next on my list. Would be a great place to grab a nice sandwich and head to the beach for sure. Will be back 100%.

I tried the tenders & gravy today & have zero regrets. The chicken tenders are crispy & cooked to perfection. What can I say about the biscuit? Well, they take me back to my Grandmother's kitchen. A big, buttery & grilled biscuit with a firm crispy exterior & a soft tender inside. Yum! Lunch was perfection, thank you!

This place is absolutely incredible. I got the Gardener veggie burger. My stomach was soo happy for the rest of the day. My husband got the grill chicken salad sandwich he also loved his meal. Going here was a great addition to the beautiful day. We will most certainly be back!

It is a quaint place. It's under new ownership, but no super big changes like I have seen in the past when a mom and pop shop changes hands. The food is still great. I HIGHLY recommend the breakfast bomb sandwich. Great service and a cozy place to eat and talk.

I went to Fat Tomato last weekend with my family - the first time in a while and the new owners are doing an amazing job! Our food was tasty and fresh and the portions are hearty. It’s a small space but the owners were so kind and accommodated us by bringing in extra chairs. Looking forward to coming back again!

Love this place!!!! I have tried multiple things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Honestly eat here at least twice a week!!! The ramen on Thursdays is a must!!!! And the biscuits with fruit is out of this world!!!!
