Have had the pleasure of coming here probably too often for someone who enjoys trying different places... because they have a changing menu with a bunch of consistent dishes. Their apps are always a crowd pleaser. a few of my faves being the delectably hot buffalo cauliflower(side note: the blue cheeseeee,ohmygod), THAI SALAD(also can be served with protein or falafel), cheese & meat board has always been mowed quickly, wingzzz, and many more. I've also been guilty of going on taco night and just ordering tacos as apps or a recent fave papas fritas! I will say it is always tempting to order the fries app because of the amazing sauces it comes with -which if you have left overs, works with many of the mains;). for your main course- Scallops, Salmon, variety of meats....there are multiple sandwich options, UNREAL tacos(on taco night), and a plethora of changing entrees. If chicken and waffles comes back, don't miss it...but the poutine will never disappoint- especially on a chilly Maine day. Their salmon dishes have always been perfectly cooked and paired with sides that keep your tastebuds engaged and normally I have leftovers for the next day! Their steak dishes and burgers have always been perfectly cooked. The lamb burger always makes my mouth water(you can ask for bacon on it). And don't worry- they have an unreal falafel and sauce for Lent! If you're lucky in the summer you can sit on the patio and enjoy some fresh seafood ceviche, oysters, and shrimp. Honestly, my only complaint is that they don't serve the pot de creme with a spatula/scraper.

Highly recommend the First Hill. Excellent drink menu with craft beers and curated wine choices. For appetizers, we loved the pork dumplings and the cauliflower falafel. Both were super tasty. For dinner, we tried the hot honey fish sandwich and the beet salad. Delicious! We regretted not having desserts but will return. 100% endorsement for First Hill!

My wife and I dined here while on vacation with our two younger children. This was our third time dining at First Hill and all three times have been excellent. The restaurant is not really one which caters to children so we go on the earlier side to avoid the crowd and to be fair to other guests because we thoroughly enjoy the food and experience. Our server was excellent and accommodating. My wife had fish and chips and I have the salmon which were both excellent and good portions. My oldest had the poutine. The steak in the poutine was slightly chewy but was well flavored. My youngest son is a picky eater and our served was willing to have the chef make a grilled cheese for him (not on the menu) which was tremendously accommodating and which he thoroughly enjoyed. The beer selection is great and we really enjoyed our desserts-the cheesecake was decadent and the pot de chocolate was outstanding. The menu has creative choices and is priced reasonably.

Finally, you launch the flagship restaurant, which is named after the tallest of the three hills of Mount Agamenticus.First Hill is an amalgam of Mediterranean and American fine dining. What is your pleasure: a perfectly grilled ribeye, succulent pork chop, the freshest fish? Here you can still get a good bottle of wine, or a nice microbrew for a fair price. This is exquisite dining without the snobbery and expense.There are two designated handicap parking spaces next to a handicap ramp. The ramp will take you to the restaurant entrance on the left or straight ahead to outside dining.

One of my favorite places in York. Found it last year and went back 2 times in the same weekend!!! Always been a lover of York54, go everytime I am in York! To find out Chef Jason had another great spot was awesome! The pickled beets were mouthwatering! Going back again for a girls night Feb 8th and can't wait to introduce them all to an amazing food experience!!

This is one of our favorite go to restaurants. The food is always good. Very imaginative menu which changes often. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and casual. You need to get there early as the restaurant fills up early. If there is anything negative, it would be the parking lot. It’s relatively small and dark.

A delightful culinary experience and the ultimate sensory journey. The food is an 11 out of 10, perfect recipes coocked just the right amount and way. I served their appetizer brussel sprout roast and spicy cauliflower and wished for a moment it was never ending. The Waldorf salad was spectacular and the coconut cheescake a delight. The live music added the perfect finish to each bite. I am looking forward to exploring this menu and space to its fullest. The service is very thoughtful and friendly. Recommend highly!!!
